Daphne Sanderswerth

Hello! I'm Daphne, I’ve lost over 100 lbs 3 times in my life. Growing up I was never what you would consider skinny and carried my “baby fat” well into my teenage years. After a childhood trauma at 12 that triggered heavy alcohol use where I went up to a size 12-14 through middle and high school up until senior year when I got down to a size 8 through taking 3 years of aerobics in high school and learning what a single portion was (It came as quite a shock to me that a bag of potato chips could be eaten in more than 1 sitting). I maintained a size 8-10 until when in an unhappy marriage alcohol became a daily factor shooting me back up to a size 14. Daily stretching and cutting back on drinking got me back down to size 6-8. Another bad relationship that involved heavy drinking got me up to a size 16 going into 18 that I walked off after once again crawling out of the bottle and not drinking on a regular basis. So as long as I stay away from heavy alcohol use and keep active, I can pretty much maintain a size 6.
